Act V

Act V of Kentucky Route Zero shows the group dealing with a flood and organizing the town around Dogwood Drive house to deal with it. Many people are bound to leave it due to not wanting anything to do with it and the player controls a cat and a dragonfly to navigate. Past echoes are present of when people were still living around the big hole in the ground and Ron has to deal with The Neighbors and bury them after they drown in the flood. The act ends with everyone reunited and mourning the horses with a song in the end and the player chooses who stays and who leaves, but past echoes all gather together to mourn their loss and people discuss their current state and how to deal with life from there on. The game end's there as the camera pans out of view and Emily is last seen finishing the mourning song for The Neighbors, The Silver One and The Other One.

The story's a tragedy, it's a tragic ending.
